Raising the Reimbursement Roof While Reducing Regulatory Risk

When the practice is paid rapidly and appropriately, things are good; however, when there are delays, denials, and requests for additional information, thing are not quite so good.  Mistakes can be devastating to the practice and can even lead to prison time.  I learned the hard way, going to prison myself.  Come learn that the proper use of the codes and comprehensive documentation results in maximum legitimate reimbursement, reduces risk, and lowers the stress in your practice as well as keep you out of jail.

Objectives:

1.    To have fun while learning
2.    To know the most commonly misused codes
3.    To be able to correct common coding mistakes and eliminate reimbursement delays
4.    To be equipped to provide the necessary supportive information to be paid quickly and consistently

Immediate Smiles & Integration of Digital Planning with Implant Prosthodontics

Course Description:

In today’s fast past world, patients and clinicians want things to be done as quickly and efficiently as possible.  These ideals can be accomplished by utilizing the latest digital tools to help us treatment plan and execute both surgical and prosthetic implant treatment.  A new innovative solution for single tooth replacement uses these tools to help us to examine the proposed implant site, visualize the future restorative ideal, plan and execute the implants accordingly, and immediately restore the case with a pre-made custom abutment and provisional crown or a custom healing abutment.  All of this leads to more efficient productive treatment for all parties involved.

Learning objectives:

  • Understand what principles influence idealized gingival and restorative esthetics and what things we should be looking for before surgery has begun
  • Become familiar with the workflows and planning processes to accomplish predictable implant placement via guided surgery
  • Discuss how implementing digital technology as part of your restorative technique can decrease patient visits and reduce chairtime
